PARTICIPANTS COME TOGETHER TO CELEBRATE "RUGBY IN THE PARK"

Kids from "Rugby in the Park" programs in Airds, Claymore and Minto came together to celebrate the successful end of the 2005 pilot. 

Hosted by Airds High School, more than 170 enjoyed the fun and games and meeting special guests, Waratah Marty Wilson and Waratah Academy member, local Rugby Union player, Fotu Aleou.   

Airds High School Principal Chris Presland thanked the students and volunteers from each of the locations who had contributed to the success of the program in 2005.  In return the school was presented with a new barbeque by the Airds Department of Housing as a vote of thanks. 

Participants were also joined by representatives of NSW Rugby Union and Macquarie Bank Sports who are major supporters of the program.
