The Champions Dinner 2007 took place on
Thursday 2 August at the Sydney
Hilton...hosted by David Koch, with special
guests Mark Ella, Nick Farr Jones and Bob
Dwyer. Celebrating the Rugby World Cup
winning '91 Wallabies, we were also able to
welcome current World Cup Wallabies Al
Baxter and Daniel Vickerman to the stage.
A highlight of the evening was the
performance by Airds High School students,
Sonny, Adam, Orlando, Eddie and Evan with
their own version of Amazing Grace. The
215 guests enjoyed fine food and wine
(courtesy of Poole's Rock), and helped the
Foundation raise $55,000 towards its
programs for disadvantaged Australian youth.
The Foundation also thanks guest auctioneer
Michael Hawkins and auction and raffle
donors ARU, NSWRU, Logan Campbell Head Chef
Lucio's, The Legends Club and True Blue
Collectables for their support. |
