"The kids learnt not only
how to play rugby, they also learnt how to respect
their coaches and each other. Another
important thing is that nowadays kids are on the
streets and doing criminal activity, I believe this
program basically gets them off the streets, and
makes them focus on sport and healthy activity instead"

commenting on the most important things the kids get
out of Rugby in the ParkRugby in the Park is the Foundation's program
running at Sarah Redfern High School, Minto.
The program offers leadership opportunities, builds self esteem and community spirit as well as
providing material support. High School
students, and members of the local community have
been trained as Coach/Mentors, and achieved
SmartRugby coaching accreditation.

Rugby in the Park is located on playing
fields at Sarah Refern High School, Minto.
It is held on Thursday afternoons from 3.15
pm.
